What you should know
about Lumineers in Houston, TX.

What are Lumineers?

Lumineers are a special kind of porcelain veneer that offer a painless way to a permanently whiter and perfectly-aligned smile. These "smile shapers" are as thin as contact lenses and can be applied to your teeth without any grinding or shaving beforehand. They create a beautiful and natural-looking smile. Lumineers can even be placed over existing crowns or bridgework without having to replace them.

Lumineers in Houston, TX is an ideal choice.

How much do Lumineers in Houston, TX cost?
The cost of Lumineers varies according to the complexity of the case, material chosen, and expertise of the dentist performing the procedure. Insurance policies generally consider Lumineers a cosmetic procedure and therefore may not pay for treatment. If this is the case with your insurance or if you don’t have insurance, talk to our office about payment options to make your care more affordable.

WHAT DOES GETTING LUMINEERS INVOLVE?
The treatment process for each Lumineer is fairly simple. Once your smile is assessed, an impression or mold will be taken of your teeth.

The impression will then be sent to a dental laboratory. Unlike traditional veneers, you do not need a temporary placed while you wait. Two to four weeks later, you will return for a second appointment to have your Lumineer placed.

After the Lumineer is bonded into place, the tooth will then be cleaned and polished to remove any excess bonding material. This completes the Lumineer process and leaves you with a beautiful, stunning new smile.

RESULTS — HOW LONG DO LUMINEERS LAST?
Lumineers should be cared for just like your other teeth — with daily brushing and flossing — and when properly maintained they can last anywhere from 5 to 20 years.
